In 2011 the Center for Disease Control (CDC) released statistics ranking the leading causes of death in the male population of America. From 1 to 44 years of age the leading cause of death is claimed by unintentional injuries. Starting at the age of 45, however, the leading cause of death among men shifts to heart disease. From this age on the highest threat to men’s health alternates between heart disease and cancer. Today we will discuss foundational health practices, which the CDC recommends, that men can incorporate to help prevent them from developing disease.
