Today we begin a new series entitled: Understanding Food Allergies. Over the course of 5 weeks we will dive into the manageable, but often quite surprising conditions, that surface from different food allergies. Coverage will extend to the most commonly diagnosed of these allergies which include: Fish, Shellfish, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Grains, Wheat, and Gluten Intolerance. Our goal is to provide illuminating information for the reader which may help in detecting a food allergy and becoming knowledgeable on how to respond to an allergic reaction in an emergency situation.
